Chrysler LLC’s Dodge first designed a full size pick-up truck in 1981 and the Dodge Ram replaced the previous version in 1994. In spite of competition from the pick-up trucks of Nissan, Toyota and Chevrolet, the Dodge Ram remains an excellent choice, depending on what you want from your truck. The styling is bold and handsome with innovative and sophisticated design while the third-generation Ram encompasses the 2005 Dodge Ram. Some of the features which define the pick-up include an all new frame, suspension, power trains, interior and sheet metal. The 2005 Dodge Ram had a larger grille, and the Ram's separate-fender look was copied by several competitors as the special models took over the market. These are very evident now across many manufacturers.

One such special model is the Rumble Bee, an integral part of the 2005 Dodge Ram. A limited sport truck version of the Dodge Ram, the Rumble Bee package was out for regular cab or short-box pick-ups and it was inclusive of lower body cladding, twenty inch wheels and a hood scoop, with a serialized number plate. All of the Rumble Bees were either available in black with yellow trim or with black trim in yellow.
The Hemi V8 engine, which powers the 2005 version of the Dodge Ram 1500, is recognised for its power and efficiency. The engine is smooth and ideally very responsive. It comes with a six-speed automatic transmission (addition in 2005 over the five-speed transmission earlier). The popular 4.7-litre, V8 benefits immensely from a modern style overhead-cam design. As with all pick-up trucks, a four-wheel drive is present to aid the powerful 4.7-litre engine for improved handling as well as stability in slippery conditions, while the SRT-10’s feature Viper V10 engines. An optional power sunroof with one touch open and close buttons was another addition to the 2005 model of the Dodge Ram.
The car is not cheap by any standards, but if you are looking for a pick-up, the Dodge Ram fits the bill. You could browse through auctions to arrive at the cheapest deals.
