The Viper SRT-10 coupe was introduced as the Dodge Viper 2006 at the Detroit Motor Show. Its body style includes a two door coupe and a two door roadster. It is powered by a 8.3 litre V10 engine which produces a mind numbing 510 HP (380 kW) at 725 N-m. It is accompanied by a T56 Tremec six speed manual gear transmission system. The latest Viper variant SRT10’s V 10 aluminium engine block was bored out by 1 mm, hence the displacement rose to 8.4 litres from 8.3 litres. The block includes cross-bolted main bearing caps and pressed-in iron cylinder liners and for durability and strength with toughened bulkheads and enhanced water jackets for greater cooling.
