The Honda Pilot is one of the newest lines of the giant Japanese manufacturer – the Pilot was launched in 2002. Fully designed and built by Honda, the Pilot is a mid-size SUV with a front engine body layout with four wheel drive. The SUV’s fuel efficiency is about 16 miles to the gallon within the city and 22 MPG on the open road, complimenting the fuel capacity of 20.4 gallons. The towing capacity of the Pilot is an impressive 4500 pounds.
